Healthy Chinese Fast Food

In Malaysia when we talk about fast food, names like Mc Donald, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza and A&W will appear. Today I will introduce a different type of fast food to everyone which is healthy to everyone. It is the Chinese Fast Food, franchise from China.

Chinese Fast Food Shop

The shop is located in Taman Danau Desa, Old Klang Road. All the food is cooked using steam method, no fry process involves which means no much oil in the food. That way it is very healthy for everyone especially those who really particular on the health. They serve porridge, rice set, noodle set and even soup. The soup ingredients is imported all the way from China.

Wasted My Time in My Life…

During my college time, I came to know a friend who wholeheartedly trying to guide me to the correct path and we end up very close to each other. She and her husband always said I have wasted my time unnecessary all these while. Why I wasted my time???

1. I hardly do charity in my life… I always think of why other people are richer than me.. own better things than me… all these thought make me very selfish to other people which always make this friend angry on me and scold me. I came to know… We born in this world is bound to our karma and merits… You need merits to own things and live a better life. So now i want to start doing charity for people and be kind.

2. I’m very ignorant to the surrounding.. the surrounding i mean can be what is happening around the world or even the person closest to you. They always say that i very outdated and not knowledgeable… how to talk to people… Now I’m already in working life… i totally agree with them… the amount of thing around is so many and we have to keep on learning from it.. that’s why people said life is learning process… Last time i seldom read newspaper.. the most i read also IT or games news.. which i like the most… Now i everyday also go read up online newspaper TheStar.com.my.

3. Always give excuses and twist story…. I’m very sorry to my friends who got this nonsense from me… everytime also end up their are very angry or sad with me…. I’m very sorry to them.. and please forgive me… I found out giving excuses will not get you out of the mess you created.. but in return make the whole thing worse… so better admit your fault better than trying to find 101 excuses for it which end up useless.

4. They are the one who treat me like family.. i really have to thank them for all the guidance they gave me but because of my ignorant all these while.. drive them crazy and started getting out of hands. I want to apologies to them for all my wrong doings all these while.

We all born in this world… but how many of us know why we born in this world and what we must do in this world… We need to live this life meaningfully… try to help out people who are more unfortunate, be kind, do charity.

I’m Sorry to those people I have hurt in my life intentionally or unintentionally. I will change myself and become a better person.

Banana Leaf Rice @ Bangsar

Today I want to introduce an Indian food call Banana Leaf Rice. Some of you may have already tried the Banana Leaf Rice. So far I tried 2 times only and both also at different restaurant. I personally prefer the second restaurant that I went to eat the Banana Leaf Rice which I will introduce today.

The Devi's Corner

There is a restaurant call Devi’s Corner in Bangsar Baru serves Banana Leaf Rice. That day, my friend came to find me for lunch and she wanted to try the Banana Leaf Rice in Bangsar. So we decided to try it in Devi’s Corner. They only serve Banana Leaf Rice at 1st Floor of the restaurant. The ground floor of the restaurant is just like the normal Mamak stall.

Banana Leaf Rice of course must have a banana leaf placed in front of you. They will put some rice at the center of the banana leaf then they will put some side dishes beside the rice. You can check the picture below to have a look at their side dishes that they serve. After that you can choose different types of gravy to put on top of your rice. That day I choose their curry gravy. This is the standard Banana Leaf Rice which cost RM 6.

For those who want to have extra dish like chicken, fish or mutton, you can order it seperately and eat with the Banana Leaf Rice. That day we ordered one chicken and one fish to try. The chicken and fish were very nice. The chicken and fish cost RM 11.50 in total.

Farewell Dinner@Victoria Station for Jun and Tan

Last Friday my office had a farewell dinner at the Victoria Station in Bangsar for 2 interns, Jun and Tan. This was my first here in Victoria Station and the feeling in the restaurant is very good. Nicely decorated and got 2 mock up train in it. We actually sit inside one of the train enjoying our dinner. Victoria Station is popular for its steak (mainly beef but they do serve chicken and seafood). I can’t eat beef due to religion so I had lobster and chicken set. The lobster is so nice and make me want to come here again next time.

Jun and Tan

Jun and Tan has been working in my company for 6 months under internship program. I’m very happy to know them and we have a lot of fun together during the 6 months. I wish them all the best and best of luck in their studies and career.

Stephen Colbert VS Rain

The other day my friend in Japan asked me to visit a site to watch a Comedy Talk show called The Colbert Report. He showed some videos talking about Korean Pop singer Rain. I think most people know Rain. He held a concert in Singapore sometime ago and the tickets is super expensive. Can say is one of the most expensive concert to watch.

I said just now it was a Comedy Talk show. The videos are damn funny and this Stephen Colbert (The host of The Colbert Report) try to imitate Rain and challenge Rain for some showdown. I was stressed out that day and after watched the videos, all my stress gone. Beside talking about Rain (I hope it won’t rain in my blog… haha), Colbert also talks all sort of things in the show.

Lame Excuses

Today a friend of mine chat with me in the MSN. She is a pretty friend of mine call Beauty (this is not her real name but she’s a beauty). Here is the chat between me and her.

Beauty: Hey Hey. Just now I wrote 6 pages in the car. (she was writing something in her car)

Me: Wah… so many.

Beauty: Yala… coz I spent 2 hours in the car.

Me: Wah.. 2 hours in the car with aircon on?

Beauty: Yalor.

Me: Waste Petrol. Next time find a place to sit down and write.

Beauty: I think the same lar. If I go to McD, I need to buy drinks and food also almost tat amount lor.

Me: -_-

Beauty: somemore order food i eat i will get fat leh. better in d car.

This friend of mine very particular about her body figure. I don’t blame her if she don’t want to eat so that she want to keep herself slim. But people not asking you to eat food. Just get a drink and sit in McD and write it. That will not cost you much. Furthermore if you sit in McD, you can enjoy more comfortable place to write your thing with FREE aircon (of coz you have to pay for your drink lar).

By sitting in the car you are contributing to Global Warming by letting your car engine running just because you want aircon, BE CALCULATIVE until like that and DON’T WANT TO BE FAT. (Sorry Beauty for saying this. Please forgive me!!! :p)

Not only that. By keep your engine running without moving can kill people in the car also. The carbon monoxide from your engine will go into your car and kill the passenger inside. Scary yeah… For those people who don’t believe me, click here to see the fact.

Please save petrol and stop your engine if you not driving your car to anywhere. Save the Earth.

Buildings : World Tallest Building, The Burj Tower

I came across a website few days ago about the construction of the Burj Tower in Dubai. It will be the tallest building in the world once it was completed. The height of this tower is about 800 to 950 meters from the ground and going to have about 160 – 189 floors. Imagine standing at the highest floor looking down the whole Dubai. I think my leg will shake standing there. Scare of height . It is expected to complete in August 2009. I looked at the construction picture from day 1 until now. It was just marvelous. Humans always do fascinating things and this is one of it. During the Ming Dynasty, the Chinese made one of the most fascinating structure which is the Great Wall of China that stretch over 3000 miles long. No doubt after the completion of Burj Tower, there will be another project that will build another tallest building…

High Definition: Looking For Blu-Ray player?

High definition videos or in short HD videos getting more and more popular. You can easily get the HD content from major video store in town. Some people may ask Why HD? What good about HD? Just a short comparison between DVD and Blu-Ray (or in short BD – is a Disc format that support HD format). DVD video maximum size is 640 x 480 and BD video maximum size is 1920 x 1080. You can see the different in size for both format. So with BD, you can see a lot of details in your favourite movies that you never see before or will never see it in DVD format. But of coz you will need a HDTV to view your HD movies.

Now the question which Blu-Ray player to get and in good bargain. I did a survey around on Blu-ray Players and PS3 (a game console which can be used to play game and watch Blu-Ray movies). In Malaysia, a standard BD player costs about RM 3000 and upwards and a PS3 costs about RM 1300. I personally thinks that PS3 is a better bargain for Blu-Ray player. There is one good point about PS3 which is you can upgrade its firmware for better support easily. Sony constantly releasing new PS3 firmware version to add functionality to its PS3.

Revoltech ARX-8 Laevatein

Revoltech is releasing another great action figure using the famous Revolver Joint on 15 August 2008 called ARX-8 Laevatein from the anime Full Metal Panic series. The box of this figure is twice as big as the normal Revoltech box and it comes with tons of goodies inside. ARX-8 comes with few different types of weaponary which includes Demolition Gun (really big gun), shot gun, Anti-tank dagger, Monomolecular Cutter and grenades.
